		<description>The One-Stop Shop for adults (16+) with High Functioning Autism or Asperger Syndrome who live in the Lothians. Number 6 has a computer room, games room and library and can be used as a drop-in during set hours. Provides a safe place where people can relax and take a break from the stresses of everyday life. In addition the staff provide advice and support across the Lothians on a range of issues including employment, education, training, benefits, social skills and opportunities. Number 6 is open to individuals with HFA or AS, their families or carers. Anyone interested in using the facilities should go along and meet with a member of staff who will give a brief induction on the resources available, after which the building can be used as a drop-in at the following times - Monday 2pm-8pm, Wednesday 10am-5pm, Thursday 2pm-8pm Friday 2pm-5pm, first and third Saturday of the month 10am-4pm. Outside of these times use of the building is by arrangement only.

		<description>A purpose build indoor and outdoor play facility and adventure playground for children and young people with additional support needs. The team of professional playworkers and volunteers encourage children to utilise all aspects of the unique environment and ensure that the environment is always stimulating and full of choice. A safe and secure space to play and explore is provided outside and facilities include - an enormous sand pit, a stream, a sensory garden, a music trail, a range of bikes for all abilities, a large bed swing and ball-cone, places to be high up, to hide away or to play with others, lots of natural and scrap materials for play. Inside facilities include - a spacious play hall, a calming sensory room, a soft play area, an art room, musical instruments, dressing up corner, a kitchen, an area for sitting and chatting, accessible toilets and facilities. Regular Play Sessions and Holiday Activities are organised and the Youth Programme offers social clubs and groups (details of days and times are on the website). The Yard needs funds for the future and has a dedicated team of volunteer fundraisers made up of friends, families, the local community and the children themselves. </description>

		<description>Provides accessible high quality autism-specific services in Edinburgh and the Lothians and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children, young people and their families/carers. Services - A Playscheme for children age 5 - 18 which enables children and young people to access community activities and venues and to make progress in their social and emotional learning through play. A Siblings Club which allows brothers and/or sisters (age 7 - 18) living with a family member on the Autism Spectrum the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation in a relaxed and recreational setting. A Social Club for teenagers with Aspergers Syndrome, which runs every Wednesday evening and is currently attended by young people aged 12 - 18. A Primary Social Club for young people age 8 -12 with Aspergers Sydrome which is held on Wednesday from 4.30pm-6pm. A Judo Club for children and young people each Thursday evening from 6pm. A Respite Care Service which is a voucher-based system and relies on funding obtained by the family from their local Social Work Department. Holidays in February and October which offer exciting programmes of activities for children, young people and their families during the school break. Parent to Parent support network connecting parents across Edinburgh who have children with autism or Aspergers. An Information and Resources Service with a wide range of books, videos and other literature for parents, carers and professionals. Offers training on autism-related issues with tailor made training packages to meet specific organisational needs. Membership is available which gives access to all of LAS services.</description>

		<description>An arts agency working across Central Scotland engaging artists in communities. Artlink is a registered charity based in Stirling with a focus on developing evidence-based practice in the areas of Arts and Disability, Arts and Health, Arts and Young People and Arts in Prisons. The Arts and Disability project has a particular focus on working with people with learning disabilities. Currently a programme of regular music sessions is run in the Artspace in the Cowane Centre. There is also a drama group for adults with learning disabilities which has offered issue-based work such as a project on understanding currency and baking - Banknotes, which won an Arts and Business National Diversity Award. The Artreach  Programme provides arts workshops for adults with learning disabilities in the Stirling and rural areas. The programme is led by a musician, a visual artist and a drama artist. The Reveal Scotland programme aims to create an artist-led network of disabled artists -  visual artists, musicians, actors, dancers and all other art forms.</description>
